Everything You Need to Know

This is a regular contribution group family takaful plan which provides coverage for death and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) with a complimentary coverage for terminal illness throughout the certificate years. In addition, this plan also includes critical illness coverage that provides advanced payout if the person covered is diagnosed with or undergoes surgery for any one of the thirty-nine (39) covered critical illnesses, as well as a daily hospital allowance benefit upon admission to a hospital.

This plan matures at age 65 years next birthday. Upon maturity of the certificate, any balance in the Participant's Account (PA) will be payable (if any) to the person covered.

  • • The total monthly contribution will be based on the plan selected.
Important Note: The contributions that you pay contribute to both the savings and protection elements of the product, such as death benefits. If you are looking for a takaful certificate with savings or investment element, you may wish to compare the returns of this plan with the effective returns of other savings alternatives.

You may request to cancel your certificate within the fifteen (15) calendar days of the free-look period. Under such circumstance, you may get a full refund of your contributions paid. If you choose to surrender your certificate after the fifteen (15) calendar days of the free-look period, any balance in the Participants' Account (PA) less will be payable. However, participating in a family takaful plan is a long-term financial commitment. The accumulated balance that you may get when you surrender the certificate before the maturity period will be much less than the total amount of contribution that you have paid.

It is important that you inform Takaful Malaysia of any changes in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner.
