The plan is open to Malaysians and valid visa holders aged between 19 and 60 years old, with policies guaranteed renewable up to the age of 100. Dependent children are also eligible, from as young as 30 days old up to 19 years of age, or 23 for those who are full-time students at recognised institutions in Malaysia.
Sompo HealthPlus is structured to provide greater value and flexibility for its policyholders. It offers four tiers of coverage, beginning with room and board rates of RM150 and extending up to RM600, ensuring that customers can select a plan that best suits their needs. Cataract surgeries are covered with intraocular lens benefits of up to RM3,000 per eye, while policyholders also benefit from the waiver of upgraded room and board charges. Cancer treatment coverage has been expanded beyond conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy to now include immunotherapy, reflecting the growing importance of advanced treatment options. Additionally, deductible options are available for those seeking cost-efficient solutions, and there is no lifetime limit imposed on claims, further reinforcing the long-term value of the plan.
