Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the countries covered in the Regional and International Coverage?

    The countries covered under Regional are ASEAN countries, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Japan & India. The countries covered under International include Regional Coverage and the rest of the world.

  • What is the minimum requirement for group size to apply?

    The minimum group size is 5 employees.

  • How much premium do I have to pay?

    Premium is paid based on the plan option(s) chosen from the coverage table. The minimum group premium is RM750 (excluding Service Tax and Stamp Duty). Premium is payable annually and payment must be made 60 days within the inception of the policy.

  • What are the fees and charges that I have to pay?

    Commission is payable up to 25% and stamp duty is RM10 per policy. Service Tax is applicable for Domestic Option only.

  • What is the process for claims to be notified and submitted?

    • - All claims must be notified within 30 days from the date of loss.
    • - All supporting documents proving the loss must be submitted within 60 days from the date of loss.
    • - No claim can be admissible if notified one year from the date of loss.
    • - All claims will be paid to the employer.
  • What age requirement must my employees be to apply?

    Each employee must be 18 years above and below the age of 70 to qualify, cover is up to the age of 75. Age will be based on your last birthday.

  • Can I cancel my policy?

    An employer may cancel the policy at any time by providing a 30 days written notice. The employer will be entitled to a refund of the premium on a prorate basis for the unexpired period of insurance.
